WE ARE STILL ON FOR PRACTICE TONIGHT AND RACING FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.
We are monitoring the weather closely and have planned for this morning rain, so the schedule remains the same. In fact, it looks as if the chance & timing of the rain over the next two days will help as opposed to hinder the track prep.

If this should change, the event will be pushed into Sunday with racing starting at 6:30pm on Saturday and starting at 5pm on Sunday. However, at this point the schedule remains unchanged for the World Nationals.

Friday's World Nationals Rained Out, Double Show Saturday
By Jeremy Fox

Marshalltown, Iowa (September 18th, 2015) Thursday Night the World Nationals featured an open track practice from 6-9pm with a little help on track prep from Mother Nature but Friday's rain was too much for the Marshalltown Speedway.

That forced speedway officials to make the decision to run two shows on Saturday. The first show will start at 1pm with the gates opening at 11am with the same format originally scheduled for Friday. Once that show is completed there will be a 1-1 1/2 hour break to rework the track before running the orginally scheduled Saturday Night Program.

Pit Passes will be $25 for the afternoon show and $30 for the evening show. The grandstands are $12 for afternoon show and $15 for evening show, children 10 and under will be free each night in the grandstands.

The event will be broadcast live on Speed Shift TV. For complete information, please refer to www.marshalltownspeedway.com Like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter.
