tazz20041 thats a very good question. We actually don't have a definite set of rules. We are trying to come up with a compromise for all area cruisers. I've asked for some input from drivers and we get a mix from Nebraska rules and Kansas rules. The Kansas tracks can do alot more to them than the Nebraska tracks can. The one thing I don't like about some of the Nebraska track rules is the roll cage protection. Some Ne tracks only have to have two pipes mounted to floor pan and roof. The last thing I want to have happen is somebody getting hurt. In all of the years I raced when someone asked me for advice the first thing I alway said was put in the best protection and safety equipment you can afford. The racing is great but if you get hurt badly or worse, everything else doesn't matter. I would like to see at least a four point cage and good seat & shoulder belts. I've told some drivers that run at Norton to bring what you got(within reason) the first night and we will have a drivers meeting to try & come up with a compromise. We need at least 10 cars committed to run every night scheduled. I suggested that to try & even up the class was for everyone to at least run street tires. Any ideas or thoughts on this subject would be appreciated guys. Let me know. Thanks!!
