It was a good day of practice. Thanks to all drivers and car owners who participated in the practice day. The staff appreciated the cooperation with everyone feeling out the new changes. Mini Sprints gave us a good test for us to figure out the setup for the mini track. ATTENTION all mini sprints: We will run the mini sprints wingless for the May 7, 2006 race. After several discussions with some of the drivers it was decided to go wingless. Also if you found a wing along highway 30 please let us know. We worked alot of kinks and unknowns out today. We will improve as the year goes on. Special thanks to all of the staff, great job today. It will continue to run smoothly as the year proceeds. Hope to see everyone next Sunday at DCR!!!

Dawson County Raceway-Where only the best will go three abreast!

Why would you run wingless on a big track?

Is that the same 600 group that was supposed to go to McCook last year after McCook opened the rules to allow them, then never showed up?
