Could you please give us an updated schedule on what dates the Late Models will be racing since there will be no cruisers now. Thanks

According to Sunday's night race program, here are the nights with GNLM and night with Mini's:
Jun 18 GMLM June 25 MS July 2 GNLM July 16 MS July 23 MS August 6 GNLM August 20 GNLM (fair race) August 27 MS

Can somebody also list the full purse payout for the GNLM's as well as any entry fees and pit pass costs? We would have a monster of a tow to get there but if we ever rain out at I-80 on one of the Sunday nights you are scheduled to run (and it is dry there), we might have to give it a try. But with the cost of towing fuel, we need to know if it is feasible financially or not. And are the rules identical to Mid-Nebraska? Thanks!

Dave, Don't know for sure on payout. Maybe Allen can let you know in a post. I do know the rules are the same as MNS. I belive the reg. fee is $25 & pit passes are $20. It would be great to have you come out if you get the chance. If I don't see a payout post I'll try to get in touch with Allen & let you know Sat. nite. See ya then! |

Thanks Doug! Let me know if you find anything out.
Was also wondering on track size for gear. Do you guys run the same gear as Mid-Nebraska or do you need to go a few steps deeper or taller?

We usually run the same gear or maybe a set deeper, but it's in the same vacinity. Heck, they wouldn't even make you run 200# heavier or a 6200 chip, though, it might help us out if you did! LOL |

For Dave, I vote for a 5500 rpm chip and an extra 400 lbs and maybe a boat anchor too
Why is it that those that know the least, know it the loudest? |

Thanks for the info!
Unfortunately I think I somehow already had that boat anchor in my car last weekend!

Here is the current payout. If we can get more cars than maybe we can increase the payout. It may not seem like a great payout out but right now it is the best we can do with the amount of people in the stands and the total expenses: 1st-$300, 2nd $250, 3rd $200, 4th $150, 5th $100, 6th $90, 7th $80, 8th $75, 9th $70, 10th $60 11th on down to 15th $50. These payouts were based on 15 cars and we had 9 late models last week but we still paid out this amount. Our fans & I appreciate all of the late models that can make it. I'm still learning this track promoter thing the best I can and still trying to make this track financially stable which is hard to do. If you have any more questions let me know. Thanks!! Registration fees are $25 and pit passes are $20. We have 4 more nights scheduled for the GN Late Models. Hope to see all of the gn late models that can make it.

Dave,
That's were that went. Must have accidentally sent in along with the driveshaft Les returned(thanks again). Somebody hid it in my car last year. lol Keep it, I don't want it, but maybe Doug will take it, seeing that he's got an open mind now (right Bowtie Boy).

Bowtie Boy? Now I know what people mean when they say "anything is possible"! Actually, I have to admit the Chevy seemed to run pretty good Sat. nite. Dale did think we had a BIG problem though when he set the valves--somebody put 2 ex. valves togather in both heads--somthing is just wrong with that! Chevy or not, I don't need the boat anchor!

The GNLM rules can be found on the Mid Ne. Speedway site. There is a 2450# weight rule. Pits open @ 5:00 Races start @ 7:00. I will try to help or find the answers if you have other questions.
