I personally want to thank all of the drivers and racefans for your patience Sunday night. We had to deal with some unexpected problems on short notice. I also want to thank Roy and Fahrenbruch Farm Center of Bertrand for the use of the liquid truck. We had to get water on the track and a short time to get it done. I know we got to much water on in corners 1 & 3 but we are trying hard to get the best racing surface possible and keep the dust down for our fans. With a little work we still had a competitive and fast track. I'm still learning all of the procedures and continue to express that we are a work in progress. An example is the mini sprint track. After the first night of racing the mini sprints drivers expressed that a bigger track would provide for better racing. Our staff responded and with the fairboards approval we moved the infield fence back. Sunday nights sprint races were a great improvement. I feel that DCR has an excellent staff and will continue to improve. Alot of us are new to each other but we are working very well together for a young group. We have made a few mistakes and will make some more, but our dedication to provide a competitive, fair, safe, and enjoyable night of racing is all of our goals. Our next night of racing resumes June 18, 2006. It is Plum Creek Motors night and the GN Late Models will be back. Gates open at 5:00 pm and the races start at 7:00 pm. Hope to see everyone here at the races. Without all of our support the racetrack does not have a future. We want and need your support. Thanks again!

Runza will be also be there with great food June 18th in the pits and behind the grandstands with an appearance of the one and only Runza Rex!
