DRIVERS, I sent out checks from Sunday night's races today, Tuesday. You should recieve them in the next day or two in time for you to use this weekend or to go to Boone. For all our area drivers that are going to compete at the state fair races and the supernationals next week good luck, we know you will represent our area well.

Allen,
I just wanted to compliment you and your staff on how quickly we recieve our checks from Dawson County. If we are unable to attend the following weeks races, you send them in the mail to us---great idea. I also wanted to comment on your decision to pay everyone that tries to make your show. I was paid a small amount for a race three weeks ago, and I didn't even start the A feature as I broke in the heat race. I am sure that you are not obligated to pay for this circumstance, but you did anyway--something other tracks around here could learn from. |

I can say, we havn't been there much. And that is usually cause we got tore up or ran out of money on Sat. But, Allen... you have proved to be one of the best promotors in the area! I can't say enough about how well you listen to the drivers and the fans. You seem to use this website well, to listen to concerns and handle them accordingly. Great job handling the flag man issue, I think that was done with extream professionalism. We all know how tough that job probably is! And as for the track surface, it was always smooth, really dirty, but, hey, it's Lexington and you can't control the dirt situation or the weather! I wish we would have been there more, but hopefully next year. Good Luck in the future.

Thanks for your compliments, but all the praise really needs to be shared with all of my staff members. Every business or company I have been involved in I always believed the greatest asset any company can have is the people who surround you. I truly have a awesome staff. We have had a few bumps to encounter but it boils down to the great work the staff does. We all live in a area where we have good promoters running the racing programs. Chuck in McCook & Gary in North Platte do an excellent job also in my book. Promoting is a very demanding position. The area racing programs had a good year. This year has been so much less stressfull than the previous two years due to everyones ability to work together. It also helps to have great fans, drivers and sponsors. Thanks again to all involved at DCR.
