Lou & I would like to thank all of the drivers, pit crews, racefans, sponsors, and staff for a great year at the Dawson County Raceway. Congrats to the track champions, some of the point races were pretty intense. All of the racers are champions in my book. The car counts were awesome, the racing action was awesome, and we had fun putting on the races. We encountered a few problems and we made a few mistakes along the way, but overall it was a very successful season. We learned alot this year and we tried our best to put on the best racing programs nightly we could. We tried to make sure everyone was treated equally and fairly. I hope everyone enjoyed the racing season this year. This is our racing program, (our meaning drivers, pit crews, fans and sponsors), I'm just trying to guide it to its potential, so thank you for helping to direct it forward in a positive direction. I want to thank my staff for doing an excellent job, they can take alot heat sometimes that they don't deserve. Thanks to those who has helped in the past. It's a great sacrifice to do the jobs they do, I'm sure alot of them would rather just watch or help their own crews, but they help me out. The success this year is due to all involved. I hope we can continue to make racing at Dawson County Raceway something we all can be very proud of. The awards banquet will be December 13, 2008. We will have a meal, discussion about the 2009 season, trophy presentations, and entertainment. Thanks again Allen & Lou-track promoters.
