I would ask that if the rumor of running Saturday Nights at Lex was true that it be rethought. I don't think it would be a good decision to run on top of Mid Ne Speedway when alot of the cars that run there being hobby stocks, and modifieds race both tracks. Besides North Platte will get a promotor even if the fairboard itself has to run it. All I ask is that you take everything into account before a decision is made. Thanks

EARLY EARLY THE BETTER SUNDAYS AT MIDNIGHT GETS PRETTY OLD AFTER AWHILE AND HARD TO KEEP A CAR COUNT,SOME OF US HAVE TO GET UP AT 5 AND ACT LIKE WE HAVE A JOB

Allen are going to do anything new with the racing surface this year IE add dirt, build up or tear down top or bottom groves and I know you talked about the start time for sundays at the awards banquet what time are you considering.
Great job last year can't wait to race.

earlier is ok but remember the heat of the summer. trying to keep enough water on the track and get older people in the stands when its 100 degrees out. if we could get one or two more tow trucks so the recovery would be faster the races would be over in good time. one wrecker makes it tough.

We did have some late nights early in the season but we made adjustments in the program and we were getting over around 10:00 to 10:30 pm the last half of the season. I am thinking that we will start at 6:30, we have drivers who work on Sundays so we can't start much earlier. We may add some dirt for maintenance is all, I will reshape it a little before season starts. Dave regraded bottom to top and back slope after the season was over last year. As far as wreckers I have asked two companies if they could help but we have only one show up for which we are grateful. I am looking at another alternative. If the drivers wouldn't wreck we wouldn't need them much. lol Hopefully I can get another commitment or borrow a wrecker. 4 more months until we start again.
