SEMP News: Over 700,000 lbs. of sand has been added to the track this past week to soften the ground and help retain moisture.
SATURDAY, JULY 16th MX RACING AT SEMP!
SEMP wants to thank Travis Hodges for appearing on the NRP weekly radio show "Track Talk" Wednesday evening at the Ice House. Travis has also advised us on this week's purse structure and will work with us on other improvements to our facility.
FREE SEMP embroidered hat to everyone that is the overall class winner on July 16th!
(Limit is one hat per class - the new Hats are white w/Red)
$500 Gauranteed MINIMUM Purse for 125A and 250A Classes*
$100 Dash for Cash in both classes for 3rd on back - pays 1st $60 and 2nd $40
NOTES for July 15th thru 17th:
* Purse structure for the 125A/250A classes: We'll split the purse between moto 1 & moto 2 for each class ($250 minimum in each is up for grabs) to give everyone a better chance at the money. Payout in each moto is 1st - 50%, 2nd - 25%, 3rd - 15% and 4th -10%
The 125A/250A is a guaranteed minimum purse and will be more with 17 or more riders per class.
Friday MX practice runs from 5pm until dark $15/rider, $10 for 50cc. Spectators are FREE.
Sunday MX practice runs from 1pm until 6pm. Same fees as Friday night. Spectators are FREE.
Friday MX practice wrist bands are good for the Friday I-80 Speedway event. The Sunday MX wrist bands are good for the Sunday night I-80 Speedway event.
FREE camping is always available at NRP.
