Attention all race track safety personnel
A free race track safety personnel meeting will be held
On: April 10, 2010 1:00 pm
At: Motorsport Park Hastings.
MPH Club House

This will be a casual discussion about how safety issues are dealt with at the local tracks in our area. We are hoping experts from each track will attend and share how they have dealt with accidents at their respective tracks. In doing so, others can learn what was done well and what can be done better in the future. If you have a special topic you would like to discuss, please contact Ken Brown at 402-705-7281.
Subjects will include but are not limited to:
Driver safety equipment, head and neck restraints
Fires: fighting fires, protecting the driver, burns
Technical safety inspections of cars and track
Race track communications
Flagging
Medical treatments and equipment to have on hand
Track volunteers vs. employees and workers compensation
