 Career Summary
The death of Dale made me realize that you should not put off stuff, 'cause you never know. So when July came around I scraped up the money and signed up for the Richard Petty Driving Experience. I got to get into a NASCAR legal stock car and drive eight laps around Pikes Peak International Raceway. Man that was awesome! I had never felt anything like it. I WAS HOOKED! I told my wife that it made me want to race in real life more than anything. So I started checking around and found an ad at Rocky Mountain National Speedway for a Cruiser Car for $300 and ran the last two races in 2001. We finished 3rd in the final race. I lost my throttle man and bought a 77 Monte Carlo to run in the Econo Class. Half way through the season I was convinced to run in a Figure-8 race and got hooked on that. It is mainly all I run now.

 Other Interesting Team Information
I took the number 40 as that was my age when I fisrt started racing. I got the nickname Crash after getting in an accident in the X and totalling out the Monte Carlo. I let anyone that wants to hot lap my car or run it in a specialty race, do so. I know how long I waited to race and I am willing to help where I can to get someone else in a car.
