Sponsors & Support: I'd like to thank Ed for helping me start up racing and Charlie for helping me have the safest car out on the track and for helping me get faster and faster each week. Much thanks to my mom and dad for supporting me and letting me race. :) Also many thanks to my first sponsor, Tom Hubbell of Stone Thrown Studio!! - http://stonethrownstudio.com. Lastly, I'd like to thank all of you out there who think girls can't drive, can't race, shouldn't race, or just plain said I couldn't do it. Without you, I wouldn't have had the nerve or motivation to chase after my dreams!!!

Awards & Accomplishments | 6/17/05 - First heat win. 5/27/05 - Second in heat, 4th in Feature. | Career Summary | This is my 12th (and last) year racing Soap Box Derby and my first year racing Hornets. My family got to know the Kosiski's through racing Soapbox and last year at the Nationals I got to talking with Ed about his idea to start up the Hornets. I discussed it with Dad -- Of course he said yes: who could turn down an excuse to buy a bigger trailer and more tools. Then I left it to Ed to convince my mom (THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!) and here I am: starting my racing career. | Racing Goals | 1. Pass someone in a race (check). 2. Get Top 5 in a race (check). 3. Have a nice save in a race (check). 4. Outdrive everyone else (check). 5. Win a heat (check). 6. Win a feature. 7. Have fun (check). | Other Interesting Team Information | I'm currently sophomore at the University of Nebraska in Omaha. I am studying to become a Mechanical Engineer with the hopes of going into the Automotive Industry and making an impact somehow or someway. My dream would be to design cars or a part of a car, to improve something or just plain re-invent something. |
