2013 - I tried the SportMod class for the first three nights of the season. I tore it up and broke a bunch of things so I traded it off for another Hobby Stock. We finished out the season at Lexington and ended up 4th in Track Points. I also raced at Doniphan a few nights and at US 30 in Columbus for a special. | Career Summary | I Demolition Derbied 4-cylinders, old iron, and pickups in a span of about ten years. Then I became involved with the Hobby Stock class because we were tired of building a new Demolition Derby car every single year and thought that hopefully we could build one car and use it for more than one go around. | Racing Goals | To have a good time, win, and to make more friends. | Other Interesting Team Information | I've raced at Mid-Nebraska Speedway at Doniphan, Dawson County Raceway at Lexington, McCook Speedway, McCool Junction, I-80 Speedway, Elmwood Park Speedway at Norton, KS, RPM Speedway at Hays, KS, the Speed Bowl at Red Cloud, NE back in the day, and Lincoln County Raceway at North Platte. I enjoy going to the different tracks to compete against a number of great drivers and also to enjoy the different landscapes. I have always had orange and black on my race car and also on my Demolition Derby cars because Wilcox's school colors used to be orange and black when I went to high school there. My Demolition Derby number used to be 9ER (from a Chris Farley movie) so I switched it up since I was doing something different to 9A (A stands for Anthony). My wife doesn't like me racing because it takes up all of my time in the spring/summer/fall, but really she should be happy. I wouldn't have anything else to do but pick on her if I wasn't racing! |
