Awards & Accomplishments | My first Feature win was on 8/27/99 at Eagle Raceway in the Flyer class. A Clean Sweep that night. Second Feature win was on 9/9/01. 4th in 2001 Points and was voted Most Popular Driver in the NRP Hobby Stock class. Hard Luck, Best Appearing Car, and Most Improved Driver Awards, 2004 & 2005 Mechanic of the Year Award. | Career Summary | I started out at Eagle raceway in 1995 with a 15 year old junker with a cage in it that I bought from Denny Berghan. Finished 9th in points. Built a new car with the cage cut out from the old one and finished 5th at Eagle and 3rd at I-80 despite missing the first week and rolling the car twice in three weeks in A Features. Bought a turn-key car from John Anderson 2 1/2 hours before race time after prior car was totaled from the week before, trailered it, gassed it, taped on my number, checked the oil, and took 5th in the feature. The next year it got totaled too. Built a new car and have had this one for the last three years with out any major damage. | Racing Goals | To earn a Track Championship and race with all my kids! | Other Interesting Team Information | We chose our car number after much discussion by averaging our birthdates by year. |
