Awards & Accomplishments | 2006 - Nebraska Raceway Park Pro Am Rookie Of The Year Award. 2007 - Raced Rick Vanderheiden's #17 Crate Late Model in the Novice Crate class with 1 heat race win and 3 Top 3 A Feature finishes. Thanks Rick for believing in me. You're a great friend!!! | Career Summary | My father started drag racing in the late 60's and then decided to go circle track racing at the famous Playland Park!!! He won a Tiny Lund Memorial Race in the Hobby Division! Went on to race at Eagle Raceway and Sunset Speedway until 1982 when he decided to hang it up. My brother Steve raced in the Mod division at Eagle 1990-1994. I got my first chance in a Grand National Late Model owned by Butch Meyers(R.I.P.) in June 1999 and raced 5-6 times that summer at Sunset Speedway, sharing time with Rick Munson in the #47 orange and white machine!! In 2003 Tyler Ray let me pilot his Grand National at Shelby County Speedway. It was my first ever A Feature start. I started 22nd and made my way to 18th by the end of the show!! | Racing Goals | Win some races and have some fun!!! | Other Interesting Team Information | I chose #20 because it was one of the two numbers that my father used. The other was #00 but it's being occupied by Tim Pickens in the Mod class at Eagle Raceway. |
