My great grandpa, Glen Matthews, started racing Mini-Sprints in the 60's. Stan Haack drove the "Rebel" for my grandpa, Rich Stelzer, at various Midwest tracks during the 60's and 70's. My grandpa also drove a Mini-Sprint for a few years and helped build Kam Raceway in Hastings, NE. My dad, Scott Stelzer, raced a Mini-Sprint in the 80's and early 90's before moving up to a 360 Sprint Car in 1992 at Eagle Raceway. I started racing a Mini-Sprint in 1998. I moved up into a 305 Sprint Car in 2006. | Racing Goals | Our goals for the 2013 racing season are to win more races at Knoxville Raceway along with winning another Knoxville Raceway Points Championship.
