I started racing Go-Karts and won a Feature race at Peewee Raceway in Holdrege. Now I enjoy watching my nephew Jason Smidt race. I was there when he won his first IMCA Stock Car Feature race in Red Cloud. Pretty neat for him and our family members. | Racing Goals | To win my first IMCA Feature. When I do, we will party!! | Other Interesting Team Information | I am currently the track promoter for Dawson County Raceway. I have enjoyed seeing the racing program turn around. I really appreciate the drivers, crews, sponsors and racefans for all of their support. It has been a work in progress by ALL of us to make Dawson County Raceway an elite racing program. Some nights amaze me how well everyone drives and races three and four wide and don't wreck. I tip my hat to those drivers. I have met and made a lot of good friends over the years. |
