| Awards & Accomplishments | My accomplishments in 2000 were to try to keep out of everyone's way while I was learning to heard one of these monsters! Just a few more horses than a Modified Go-Kart!
| | Career Summary | I started my racing career in Owatonna, MN in 1974 with Terry Hansen in the old full framed Late Models back in the years of the big block Chevy 454's as a pit crew member. Moved back to my home town of Heron Lake, MN, buying a business of my own in the winter of 1978 and bounced from team to team helping anyone that needed it, mostly at the Fairmont, MN 1/2 mile. This carried on until 1989 when I decided to start racing Go-Karts. Went from Stock to Super Stock to Modified to Outlaws. Won some track championships & series championships along the way (as did the daughter) filling a good sized wall in the basement with trophies and thought it was time to go faster. Bought a 44 foot trailer and a black dually and everyone gave me a hard time about only having Go-Karts in such a large trailer. In 1998, bought the Schnee for Bill Boles to run as he had a bad year and needed a little help. Billy ran the car for one year and sent it back. I couldn't let it sit in the garage and rust! In 1999 we purchased enough parts to put it together and the rest is history!
