Awards & Accomplishments | 1995 - 11th in Eagle Fam Sedan Class. 1996 - 4th in Eagle Fam Sedan Class. 1996 - Eagle Fam Sedan Most Improved Team. 1997 - 24th in Adams County Speedway Pro-Street Class. 1998 - 14th in Adams County Speedway Pro-Street Class. 1999 - 10th in Adams County Speedway Pro-Street Class. 2004 - Top 20 in the IMCA Stock Car National Points. 2004 - 2nd in Nebraska State Points. 2004 - 2nd Beatrice Speedway Track Points. 2005 - Top 20 in the IMCA Stock Car Northern Region. 2005 - Thayer County Track Championship. | Career Summary | My first race was an Enduro at Beatrice Speedway in 1994. In 1995 we ran a limited schedule at Eagle Raceway with our Enduro car in the Fam Sedan class. For 1996 my brother Roger and I decided to build a car from the ground up for Eagle's Fam Sedan class. We won an A Feature and finished 4th in Points. For the 97 season I bought a used Firebird and started running in the Pro-Street class at Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa. We ran there for three and a half years, but despite some good runs, never won an A Feature there. We ran the second half of the 2000 season in the Pro Am class at I-80 Speedway. 2001 was our first year with our Late Model. We split time between Mid-Nebraska Speedway and the CNCTA Series with 2 Top 5 finishes at Mid-Nebraska and 2 Top 10 finishes with the CNCTA. In 2002 the Late Model motor blew up so that was the end of racing it. I thought I retired after 2002 but ended up only taking a year off. We have now won 17 A Features in three years of racing a Stock Car. 2006 looks to be our last year racing, so hope it is a good one. Money, time, family, kids, and so on for me and everyone that helps me do this is a big factor in trying to get out after this year. | Racing Goals | To run competitive on a limited budget, be able to put the car on the trailer in one piece at the end of every night, and make some friends along the way. | Other Interesting Team Information | My brother and I do everything to the car that we possibly can ourselves, from building our own motors to making our own bodies and doing our own chassis setup. |
