Awards & Accomplishments | 2001 Eagle Raceway Flyer Rookie of the Year. I finished in 8th place in points my first year. 1999 Heartland Park in Topeka, KS Porsche Club of American Racing Rookie of the Year in a l977 Porsche 911. 2000 Porsche Club Most Improved Driver Award. | Career Summary | I first started racing at a BMX bike track in Lincoln. After winning enough races, I qualified for the National BMX Race in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in l990. I was the National Champion in my age groug and also raced in the Race of Champions where I finished in the Top 4. I raced for four years. When I was 16, I went with my dad and we shared driving responsibilities with our 1977 911 "S", "The FLASH". After that I knew I needed to race my own car and Bubba Racing was born. I took us half the season to figure out how to set up the car and keep it from catching on fire, and after that out goal was to WIN! |
