| Career Summary | Started racing around 1984. I started out in a Limited Late Model, and a few years later I moved into a Modified. Soon after, I began winning Championships and races, at least 3 a year. I became involved because of my father, Rich, who began racing back in the 60's and 70's with his two brothers, Ron and Ralph. | Racing Goals | To hopefully someday become the IMCA National Modified Champion, and to continue to win races and Track Championships for many years to come. | Other Interesting Team Information | The car number is the same as my father's. He had it through many years. My pit crew is a very hard working bunch, volunteering many hours during the week to work on and prep the car, and going to the track to see that I make it to Victory Lane. I also have another pit crew, called the "Bleacher Creatures", which includes my wife Michelle and my two daughters, Courtney and Rachel, my mom, Barb, and John's wife, Shelly. We don't have any real rituals before race time, but I do get very clear-minded and do a lot of concentrating. We do enjoy a few cans of Coors Light after a good night of racing! |
