Other Than Dirt Driver Tracks & Series
|
Awards & Accomplishments | Won at least 1 A feature every year from 1995-1998 at I-80, won Best Appearing Car in 1998 at I-80, I have finished in the top 8 every year but 1994, won a B feature in 1999 at Sunset (one of only 4 times running there!). | Career Summary | I worked as a crew cheif for Bob Kell for years in the Pro Am division at Sunset & Eagle. Crewed for Marty Steinbach for first year at I-80. Bought a car and finished 13th in points the first year. Pro Am is the only class I have run - BUT, bought a Grand National and hopes to be out in it soon. | Racing Goals | To win a championship before retiring - ha, ha! | Other Interesting Team Information | I did some drag racing before starting circle track racing. Every time we went out to Scribner, we broke and would have to tow home. I told Mary Beth if we were going to trailer something, let's go circle track racing. When I did start dirt racing, because of my height, I would use milk crates to step on to get into the driver's window. It has been a lot of fun doing this! We are currently working on getting some T-shirts & hats for giveaways at the track.
