Moved on to racing Hobby Stocks in the late 80's. Competed in that class until 1995 when I began racing Street Stocks. I had my first year of racing in the Grand National Limited Late Models in 2001. We have enjoyed racing many different tracks in Nebraska and Iowa. | Racing Goals | Winning is always great, but we pride ourselves in being consistent. We take great satisfaction in always having a clean car and racing operation. Neatness and presentation is a top priority. We would love to have the opportunity to win a Track Championship in the Limited Late Model Class. This would be a great accomplishment in such a competitive class. | Other Interesting Team Information | My high school football number was 33. When I began racing the number 33 was taken so we added an "X." Red has always been my favorite color, and that is why many of our cars have been red. Every one of our cars has always had a name. I always have raced with a St. Christopher's medal in my car or in my pocket. St. Christopher is the patron saint of safe driving. Racing is a family oriented operation for us. Our crew has always contained family, and at any given time you will see a "sea of red" shirts in the stands rooting for us. My parents, my wife, and the wives of the crew members and all of our children are always there to support the 33x team. Racing brings our family together every weekend, and this makes racing all the more special to me. |
