Awards & Accomplishments | Best Appearing Hobby Stock 2 years in a row, Top 10 in Hobby Stock season points for 5 years, all at Marshalltown, Iowa. | Career Summary | I became involved in racing at a young age. I practically went to my first race as a newborn! My father and uncle helped Keith Kropf of Ottumwa, Iowa in the pits and Keith was a very close family friend of ours. My brother, a senior in high school and highly scouted basketball player scouted by the Minnesota Timberwolves, was killed along with my cousin by a drunk driver. My brother's home uniform number was 53, and this is why I chose this number when we moved back to Iowa. My racing has always been in his memory! | Racing Goals | After some bad luck two seasons ago, I am taking time off from driving. I am heavily involved in track rescue and continue that this season at Marshalltown and Boone. I am the lead EMT / Rescue Technician. My goal is to get back into racing in the next couple of years, in the Modifieds once again. I am trying to get on the Track Rescue Squad at Knoxville Raceway for the Sprints. | Other Interesting Team Information | I want to note that I have not raced at any of the speedways on here yet. Through whowon.com, I have met a new friend - Boz! His story and mine are very ironic and similar and brought me to tears after we talked back and forth. Boz, can't wait to talk to ya some more and good luck this season. God Bless. My car is an IMCA Stock Car. |
