Shelby County Speedway (IA) - Modified #12
|
Awards & Accomplishments | Feature win and heat wins at Harlan. Qualifing Feature win at Octoberfest in Beatrice. Lots of Pro Am heat wins and too many second places at Harlan, Denison, Sunset, and Corning. | Career Summary | I have raced since 1995 off and on, only racing four full seasons. I started out in the Hobby class and raced the last half of 95 and the full season in 96. In the winter of 96 I bought a Pro Am from Jerry Carlson and raced it for the 97 and 98 seasons, only to roll it and destroy it in the middle of the 99 season at Harlan. In 2000 I raced a K-Modified for eight races. In 2001 I raced for a full season in the K-Mod. In 2002 I bought a Dirtworks Modified from Iron Man Racing Supply in Corning and raced it four shows, including the Boone Nationals. | Racing Goals | To keep racing the Modified and win Features. | Other Interesting Team Information | Keith Knop and I pit right beside one another. One night I watched Dirty plow off the track into Keith's pickup and then Keith went out and destroyed his Stock Car in the first corner of the heat race. Talk about **** luck! Keith's the King of T-Bones! |
