Other Than Dirt Driver Tracks & Series

Career Summary | I became involved in racing in 1980 in Arizona with Copperstate Racing. I raced for my employer who couldn't race after he'd been in a terrible accident. I raced the NASCAR Sanctioned Stock class for that season. I was with that team for two years. Then I raced again in 2000 after moving to Iowa for Clarion Racing. I raced one season in the Cruiser class for my employer and his son. After moving to Audubon in the fall of 2001, I decided to race again with my friends and we've raced together since 2002 in the Cruiser class at Audubon. | Racing Goals | To achieve a Track Championship before I retire from racing. | Other Interesting Team Information | The number for our car is my father's birthay, March 27th (327). He wanted to be a part of our team, but lives out of state and is in poor health. We let him choose the number for our car so he could feel he was with us every race. We take alot of pride in that!! We built our first 327 car in two weeks and it definitely showed at the track. We aquired the nickname "The Put-Put Boys" and hope to retire that name this year!! No matter what we tried, our car wouldn't perform with any power on race night, even though she'd haul butt when we'd test her during the week. Old 327 had track fright, so we retired her and started new for this season. This year we have a new car, a much larger crew, and a whole new attitude towards racing. |
