Off Road Speedway (NE) - Late Model #5
|
Awards & Accomplishments | I started racing in 1993 in the Pro Am division. My first Feature win was at the Nebraska State Fair in 1997. I have won numerous A Features in the past nine years at I-80 Speedway and last year had 3 A Feature wins at NRP. I also had the opportunity in 1997 to drive a Limited Late Model at I-80 Speedway. On my second night out I won both the heat and Feature. Won the Abe Lincoln Memorial in Columbus in 2004. | Career Summary | My dad, Dennis Steinbach, and also my wife Kathy's dad, John P. Simon, raced, so I guess you could say it's in the family's blood line. My whole family enjoys racing. I have raced not only at I-80 Speedway / NRP but also at Shelby County Speedway in Harlan, Iowa, Blackbird Bend Speedway in Onawa, Iowa, Lakeside Speedway in Madison, South Dakota, and the High Banks of Belleville in Belleville, Kansas. | Racing Goals | To be competitive. | Other Interesting Team Information | My dad's car number was also #5. |
