Welder/Fabricator - Razor Chassis/Roth Racing
Due to expansion, Razor Chassis/Roth Racing Performance, Inc. is in search of a welder/fabricator at its Platte Center, Nebraska location.
Employment type: Full-time, 7:30-4:30 Monday-Friday
Description: Fabricate and weld according to customer orders, verbal instructions and blueprints. Prior race car fabrication and welding a plus. Flexibility and willing to help out in other areas is key.
Essential duties:
� Layout cut marks in preparation for cutting, drilling or machining
� Setup and operate fabricating machines, such as tubing benders, shears, drills and tubing notchers
� Hammer, cut, bend and straighten metal
� Position, align, fit metal tubing together; design and construct templates and fixtures
� Verify conformance of work piece to specifications, using a square, ruler and measuring tape
� Fabricate and assemble race car products
� Setup and operate machine tools associated with metal fabricating shops
� Perform routine preventative maintenance on associated equipment
� Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
� Cross train in other areas of the business as needed
Qualifications:
� 1 to 3 years welding/fabricating experience
� MIG and TIG welding experience
� Produce clean and neat finishes
� Mechanically oriented
� Basic mathematical ability
� Must be able to read blueprints or drawings
� Ability to be able to lift/move materials up to 75 to 100 pounds
� Willing to be trained in other areas
� Clean driving record
