Due to expansion, Razor Chassis/Roth Racing Performance, Inc.
is in search of a welder/fabricator at its Platte Center, Nebraska location
Employment Type:
Full Time, 7:30-4:30 Monday through Friday
Description:
Fabricate and weld according to customer orders, verbal instructions and blueprints. Prior race car fabrication and welding a plus. Flexibility and willing to help out in other areas is key.
Essential Duties:
� Layout cut marks in preparation for cutting, drilling or machining.
� Setup and operate fabricating machines, such as tubing benders, shears, drills and tubing notchers.
� Hammer, cut, bend and straighten metal.
� Position, align, fit metal tubing together. Design and construct templates and fixtures.
� Verify conformance of work piece to specifications, using a square, ruler and measuring tape.
� Fabricate and assemble race car products.
� Setup and operate machine tools associated with metal fabricating shops.
� Perform routine preventative maintenance on associated equipment.
� Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
� Cross train in other areas of the business as needed.
Qualifications:
� 1 to 3 years welding/fabricating experience.
� MIG and TIG welding experience.
� Produce clean and neat finishes.
� Mechanically oriented.
� Basic mathematical ability.
� Must be able to read blueprints or drawings.
� Ability to be able to lift/move materials up to 75 to 100 pounds.
� Willing to be trained in other areas.
� Clean driving record.
