got a 84 chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 turbo 400 transmission, drivetrain good, 6.2 diesel has a hole in piston or cylinder.
82 chevy 1/2 ton,4x4, 700r4 with shift kit(has roughly 15,000 mile on rebuild) has a 84 6.2 diesel in that the heads have been ported, pump has been tweaked,(truck ran like it was a gas burner with that extra pull), has 3 in. lift kit, directional mag rims, body is extremely rough. This truck was a very good runner, just let brother drive and he locked er up(been told a hole lot of hot rodden)
