Mel Sorensen passed away this morning after battling an illness. Mel was a fixture at many tracks around the midwest in the 70's,80's and 90's. After driving he continued as a fan, spectator and sponsor. I want to extend condolences to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.. RIP MEL.
