Shop Shelving - Heavy Duty and Cheap!
To anyone that might need some heavy duty shelving for their race shop or elsewhere, I've got a friend that was recently contracted to completely clear out all of the heavy duty shelving from the building where the Lincoln Kmart went out of business a few years ago. You won't find any higher quality shelving anywhere, and he is letting it go very inexpensively. I got a lot of it from him for my race shop and it is VERY nice stuff!
Here is a picture of what they basically look like:
They assemble and disassemble very quickly and easily with no tools required. They can stand by themselves as a dual-sided aisle type of shelf like in the picture or you can remove one foot from the leg and screw them into a wall for a wall-mounted one-sided type of structure. The shelves are strong enough to support hundreds of pounds each and are totally versatile for mounting location. You can add as many shelves as you want and at any height you want. They simply lift out of the slotted channels and can be moved anywhere else on the structure.
