In 1976 Major General AJ Beck bought this car and added it to his collection. After his passing earlier this year the car transferred to his daughter and son in law, who in turn sold it to me. My sole purpose in buying the car was to get it back on the road and into the hands of someone looking for a good driver and an enthusiasm for the road.
The vehicle needed a complete brake system rebuild, of which all components except for the lines and pedal have been replaced. Some light damage in the form of a crack to the passenger front fender has been repaired and the panel repainted. A few hoses and assorted bits and pieces have also been replaced, repaired, and or cleaned up in the engine compartment. I�ve added a center console elbow rest which seems to have made the car more comfortable. With the new tires it is ready for a long cruise down your favorite back high way or tooling around down town.
She starts right up, the suspension is nice and tight, handles well on straight a ways and corners, and gets very good gas mileage compared to my �73.
