2 stage air compressor
2 stage speedaire compressor, 3-phase motor. Grainger part #1WD61 ran in a 1 shift 5 day a week production environment for just over 1 year and started pumping slow. It has the classic signs of having a bad reed valve, which is not a big deal to fix. Pull the head, replace the valve and put it together. It turns over smooth (ran fine just cfm was low), crankcase oil is fine, has a light film of oil around the input shaft which indicates the crankcase had pressure in it which is the reed vavle. Didn't have time to wait for parts to fix it so we just bought another one. In a production environment they only warrenty them for 1 year.
I have a parts list and prices, schematics, and I also found some new single phase light duty (good for garage applications) motors. Buy it as is if you like ($650), or if you want it single phase and reapaired I can do that for you which would probalby run around $1100 total for it. I would need to double check the price and would require a deposit before starting the work. Or I can point you in the right direction on parts and how to do it, you can save a few bucks and do it yourself. New this compressor is over $2K and they usually are trouble free (we have 2 others with no issues), this one does have a problem though.
