View Advertiser Index Classified Posted on 6/2/2010 12:22:19 PM Looking for GM 4X4 5 Speed I have a 1996 S10 4X4 with a 4.3 liter engine. It has a 5 speed manual transmission and the gears grind when shifting into second. I either need to rebuild what I have or find a used tranny. One individual told me that 1/2 ton full-size GM pickups used the same light-duty 5 speed. Does anyone out there know what years and what applications may be interchangeable?
