I have followed racing since I was seven years old when I first met Tom Svoboda. My father raced at a small track near where Nebraska Raceway Park is now back in the mid 80's. My uncles and my brother raced, so I guess I am following in a long line of men to the track. I guess it's in my blood! | Racing Goals | 1. To prove to common everyday folks that you do not have to be wealthy to race. Instead, with patience and perseverance, you can overcome.
2. I love to help guys get into racing by helping them find cars or parts. Just to see somebody start racing is awesome! | Other Interesting Team Information | We don't have any racing rituals, but some of the best stories are:
In 1995 at Harlan, the pit crew were working on the car and the lights kept going out in the pits. Well I looked down and found the plug wire was coming off the generator so I climbed out reached down and tried to put the wires back on while the generator was running. Man, that hurt! But everybody got a laugh at that one!
In 2004 at BlackbirdBend Speedway I flew off the backstretch and thought my car was sinking in water. Brad Appleton came over and was laughing about that one! |
