The Sanford family would like to thank Mike Willman for giving me the opportunity to drive his cart for the 05 season. It looked as if I was going to sweep the Points, but the second half of the season saw a lot of racing gremlins, taking the Point Chase down to the wire. We would also like to thank all of the competitors and their parents as we were able to make lasting friendships. Also thanks to Lucy at Wachas Speedway for giving us a place to race and for providing a very family oreinted atmosphere.

 Awards & Accomplishments
Points Championship at GP Superspeedway and Wachas Place Speedway in the Light class in 2004. Many Feature wins. 2004 Fast Qualifier at Wachas Place Speedway. Mid-Season Championship at Wachas Speedway. Record holder for avarage lap time in Light class and record holder for Junior Light class. The 2005 season ended with 6 Features wins and many Top 5's. I broke my own track record twice during the season. The Points Championship came down to the wire on the last night as I was tied for 1st and 2nd was only 3 points out. I won both heat races in the second set, a new track record. The Feature didn't go as well as the motor broke on the 3rd lap, creating a DNF, resulting in finishing 3rd in Points for car owner Mike Willman.

 Racing Goals
To race anything with wheels, win some more races and Point Championships and most of all have fun!

 Other Interesting Team Information
Troy Kenny Sanford, I am named after my Grandpa Sanford and my great uncle Kenny Gritz. My Grandpa Sanford raced four years and his number was 13. He was 3rd Quick Qualifier in the 1969 Knoxville Nationls in Kenny's backup car. Motor problems ended his week. Uncle Kenny went on to win the 1969 Knoxville Nationals in the blue #12 car. My uncle Jerry also raced Sprint Cars in the 80's. My real inspiration came from my dad racing all my life. He gave me goals to work for like when he won the 2000 Points Championship. He showed that working hard does pay off. When I first started racing my number and paint scheme was patterned after my dad's, but then I decided to change to #12 in memory of Uncle Kenny. He was a great driver and I want to be just like him.
