US 30 Speedway (NE) - Modified #85
|
Awards & Accomplishments | 1 A Feature win, numerous B Feature wins, 2006 Rookie of the Year Award, finished 11th in Points my rookie season, 2007 Sportsmanship Award. | Career Summary | I helped work on Late Models, Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Drag Cars. I've been around all types of cars and have been involved in snowmobile racing, wrenching on sleds, motorcycles and anything else mechanical. | Racing Goals | To finish every race and get seat time. | Other Interesting Team Information | I chose the number 85 because it was my grandfather's number, which was retired back in 1966 after his death in a car accident on 12/28/1965. He was Points Champ at South Sioux Speedway, and in the Top 10 at Columbus consistently. A Sportsmanship Award in his name was given to Riviera drivers for many years after his death. I wish I could've met him in person, but I know he'll be watching me proudly. If I can be half the driver he was, I'll be happy! |
