Awards & Accomplishments | 2019 Missouri UAS Feature win at KC Raceway in Kansas City, MO, 2017 Mini E Raceway Open/Outlaw Championship, 2009 Wavelink Raceway Park Senior Sportsman Championship, 5th place Senior Stock 2009 MASN Excalibur Racing Nationals, various numerous heat race, Trophy Dash and A Feature wins at Wavelink Raceway Park in Wavery, NE, Little Sunset Speedway in Greenwood, NE, Mini E Raceway in Eagle, NE, Bobcat Speedway in Blencoe, IA and KC Raceway in Kansas City, MO. | Career Summary | I've been attending races since I was six months old at Sunset Speedway in Omaha. I decided to join the pit crew for Jerry Wancewicz in 1986 and was his Crew Chief on his Late Models until 1993. Then I was the Crew Chief for J.J. Cooper and his Late Models from 1994 to 2000. Then I joined forces with Craig Preble in 2001, helping him with his Late Models until 2005. That's when the bug to drive something of my own hit and I decided to get into Karting. | Racing Goals | To race cleanly, have the respect of my fellow competitors at all times, and to win my fair share of races. | Other Interesting Team Information | I've been around racing most of my life. It took the creation of Little Sunset Speedway a few years ago to finally get me to trade in the wrenches for a racing helmet to give driving a try. A friend let me try out his Kart for a few hot laps. Next thing you know, I bought the Kart from him, and have been having a great time ever since! I recommend to anyone who has the "itch" to drive, regardless of what it is, to give it a try. You won't regret it! |
