 Career Summary
My uncle, Jeff Leep, used to race Broncos in the late 80's and early 90's. That's what got me hooked. I've always wanted to be a race car driver. I've always been around and worked on race cars since my uncle raced. I finally decided it was time to race.

My rookie season was a lot of fun. We learned a lot. I feel that we did pretty good for never racing before. As you can see from the stats above, we had a decent season. We learned how to keep going when it got tough. The first half of the season we blew two really good motors, both times when we were running in the Top 2 in the A Feature with four laps to go. The last half of the season we had the motor thing figured out, but then we started having tire issues. In three weeks of racing we went through six brand new tires. Most of those went when we were running in the Top 5 in the A Feature with a few laps to go. But hey, that's racing! I'm still pretty happy with the season we had. I learned a lot and I gained a lot of respect from the other drivers.

The 2010 season started out really good. We came out being very competitive. About half way through the season we were sitting 3rd in Points at Mid-Nebraska Speedway, 2nd in Points at Dawson County Raceway, and 7th in Nebraska State Points. Then the wreck came. We tumbled the car against the front stretch wall at Mid-Nebraska Speedway. It took us three weeks to get the car back together. When we came back we had three consecutive Top 5 A Feature finishes. Then I made a mistake which resulted in the car ending up on its side at the end of our season. We had high expectations for the 2010 season. Everything was looking good and all it took was one race to take it away. That's racing though.

The 2011 season went very good for only being our third year racing. We got a new Red Rocket Chassis and man did I like that car! The beginning of the season didn't start out as good as we hoped. We struggled for the first few races trying to figure the new car out. But when we did, things started looking up! We finally got our first A Feature win at Dawson County Raceway and won multiple heat races at a few different tracks. We learned a lot this year and we are very happy with the progress we are making.

The 2012 season had a lot of ups and downs. We were very competitive whereever we ran. We seemed to be consistently finishing in the Top 5. The only thing that we needed on our side for the season was luck, which didn't happen. We had 6 DNF's and a few mechanical failures. We experienced two blown motors, rolling our primary car, the car starting on fire, gears going out on us, and other mechanical failures that would plague us from A Feature wins and Top 5 finishes. Other than the bad luck we had a lot of fun, and like always, learned a lot.

The 2013 season was a big jump from a Hobby Stock to a Limited Late Model. We struggled for the first half of the season, but then we joined forces with Matt Shrock at Al Humphrey Racing, and things started looking up for us. They helped get the car set up and taught us what to do in certain track conditions. We finished the season off with 3 Top 5 finishes in 6 races. We also won the Coolest Car Award at Mid-Nebraska Speedway. We were happy with our season. We learned a lot and can't wait to run in the Limited Late Model class again in 2014.
