 Career Summary
I've been around racing since I was five years old, helping Jim Sheffler with his cars in Creston, Nebraska. We went to the races in Norfolk, David City, Albion, etc. in the early 80's. I pitted for Mike Schmidt at Park Jefferson when I was a teenager and worked on cars at Tom Reed's, who is now the owner of Raceway Park, the old Interstate Speedway. I raced some Enduro races and built my first 4-door Bomber car for Interstate Speedway in 96. Since then I have raced Hobby Stocks all over the Midwest and have made trips to Texas in the winter to race. In 2005 I went to IMCA Stock Cars and raced at Blackbird Bend, Park Jefferson, and other tracks. After the 2006 season I took some time off for family business, including putting my wife through nursing school, from which she has just graduated with her RN degree. I have been helping my father-in-law and brother-in-law since 2006, and racing other people's cars every once in a while. I am in the process of building a new car for 2009 and am planning on running Hobby Stocks again in 2010.

 Racing Goals
Win a National Hobby Stock Championship.
