Awards & Accomplishments | 1987 Modified Rookie of the Year Award at Midwest Speedway in Lincoln, NE. Much more to add soon in nearly 25 years of wins and awards. | Career Summary | As a child, I drove every empty box and put cards on my bike to make it sound like a race car. my family all enjoy a laugh about it still. My goal growing up was always to be a race car driver. I bought my first car, a 1972 Cutlass, in 1986, and started living the dream. I raced at Eagle Raceway. In 1987 I moved into IMCA Modifieds. I raced at Eagle and Midwest Speedway. Many adventures later I was given the opportunity to race a Late Model for Ray Haase at Riviera Raceway. I am current running Thursday nights at US 30 Speedway and Saturdays at Riviera Raceway. Still living the dream! | Racing Goals | To win many more Features and a Track Championship for Ray Haase. To run the World 100. Million Dollar Dream! | Other Interesting Team Information | My car #02 is tradition for car owner Ray Haase. Throughout the years I have had numerous sponsors and had the support of family and friends. I could not have lived this dream without them. I have met so many wonderful, good people along the way. I have raced in 12 states. I got to be the very first Track Champion in Mods at Beatrice Speedway. I won the very first Mod race at US 30 Speedway. I got to be on the cover of Stock Car Magazine in 1991. All of this has been and continues to be my dream come true! |
