* 3rd place at Kansas Enduro at 81 Speedway April 2010, was only car running Enduro with 2-man setup out of 20 cars, running with Kelly Shipman.

| | Career Summary | Pure Pork Racing began in 1997 with my dad, Porkchop, and a friend of his, Randy Johnson. They built a Cruiser car and raced at 81 Speedway in Wichita, KS. I filled in a few times when Randy was unable to race and got hooked! Dad and I ran two seperate cars for our first four years in the Cruiser class. After that we teamed up. We currently operate two Cruiser cars. We have our local Cruiser car we run at Hutchinson Raceway Park in Hutchinson, KS and at 81 Speedway in Wichita, KS. We also have our Outlaw Cruiser we bring up to Nebraska to JMS. Along with the enjoyment in racing our Cruisers, we have met a lot of good friends along the way. Kelly & Dennis Shipman in the Z31 have helped us in more ways than one & cannot be thanked enough. Gary Whitmore has provided a lot of help and is now driving the 633 alongside me in the Open Cruiser races at JMS in 2010. Sam Schwebach, who runs the 27S, has provided a place to work on the car. While our local weekly Cruiser division is fun, the Open Cruiser class that JMS has started to run is what it's all about! There are five of us from the Wichita, KS area that have teamed up to form the Kansas Outlaw Cruisers. The 633 of Gary Whitmore (driver), myself (gasser), & Porkchop (car owner), the Z31 of D.J. Smith (driver), Kelly Shipman (gasser), & Dennis Shipman (car owner), the 27 of Sam Schwebach (driver) & Andy Dunbar (gaser), the 47A of Gary Wonders (driver) & Brian Wonders (gasser), and the 11A of Joe Andrasek (driver) & Travis Andrasek (gasser). We all run at Beatrice when they put on the Cruiser Nationals race each fall. The Open Crusier class is for racers who enjoy the Cruiser class and enjoy the element of two people in the car, but want to put a little more time, effort, money, and sweat into building a quality, fast, safe Cruiser to run. As the Kansas Outlaw Cruisers like to say, "Run Whatcha Brung and Hope Ya Brung Enough!!"

| | Other Interesting Team Information | I am organzing the 1st Annual Kansas Cruiser Nationals at 81 Speedway on Saturday, October 15, 2011. There will be two divisions of Cruisers running that night, Outlaw Cruisers and Stock Cruisers. Each will be $1000 to win (with 26 or more cars).
