 Career Summary
Six years ago I performed open heart surgery on Bernie Bryan (Sprint Car #6), doing a unique operation using his own lung valve to reconstruct his badly leaking aortic valve. He told me that if he could return to racing after the operation he would let me drive his Sprint Car. At that time I knew absolutely nothing about racing nor could I care less, but he did very well after the surgery and called me one day to keep his end of the bargain. I went to Eagle, more out of courtesy than anything, and he and the crew strapped me in his car for hot laps. As soon as that car fired my life changed and I have developed a passion for racing ever since. The sounds, the smell, the competition, the great people are all awesome! I have the greatest respect for racing and racers and only wish I had known about this 20 years ago. But better late than never! Thanks Bernie for insisting that I come to the track that night or I would have missed out on one of the most enjoyable challenges I have ever encountered.

 Racing Goals
My goal is to be a knowledgeable, competitive, and respected race car driver. Winning would be great as well but the other things are more important.

 Other Interesting Team Information
My number comes from the fact that my children's names are Alexander (21) and Anna (17). Alex's number in sports was 11. My airplane's number is N711AA. I hope "Little E" wins it all this year in NEXTEL Cup.
