 Career Summary
I started racing in the early 1990's. I was able to get a friend of mine, Jeri Spotts, involved and he soon caught the bug. He was my Crew Chief and a great one at that. We both wanted to do the best we could. I was trying to improve my driving abilities, and Jeri was trying to make the car go "faster, faster" and did a good job. In 1993 it all started coming together, and a great year it was. It showed us, with hard work and determination, we could race against the best in the division. I raced until 1997. With the birth of one daughter already, it was time to focus elsewhere for awhile. I've now got two beautiful girls and a great wife. I am now getting ready to run in the Pro Am Street Stock division as #73. I look forward to racing and meeting lots of new friends. We have a good team and a good car. We are looking forward to a great 2002 racing season. Look for us in the Rookie of The Year hunt. I like our chances. To all the team members and sponsors, thank you for all your help and support. It means a great deal to me. I'll try to make it up to you on the racetrack.

 Racing Goals
In the upcoming 2002 racing season I will try and win the Rookie of the Year Award, but there are many more goals to reach. We want to run competitive and fast every week. We need to learn to keep up with the leaders, and be ready to pounce. That will be huge if we can do that. I would like to get a heat race win under our belt and put ourselves in a position to get an A Feature win. All sounds good, but we will have to work hard to get there. But best of all it's just great to be back racing again! Hope we can put on a good show for the fans!

 Other Interesting Team Information
Our number and color design came from my father-in-law Phil Barkdoll. He and his wife Linda have always been a big support and inspiration to me and my racing. Phil did his share of racing, even part time in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series as #73. I have one brother-in-law who is the Vice-President of Andy Petree Racing, and another who can drive the wheels off an IMCA Modified. I'm looking forward to having my dad in the pits this time around. We will share some great times I'm sure!
