Awards & Accomplishments | 1993 Eagle Flyer Track Championship, 1995 & 1996 Eagle Thunder Truck Track Championships, ran for 1996 NASCAR Regional and National points, numerous heat and Feature wins. | Career Summary | My racing career began very early but was held up by a non-racing mother. Let's point out that for the last 12 years my biggest supporter and fan has been my mother. She is now 100% converted to support racing.
My involvement with the University of Nebraska College of Engineering has been great. Contrary to some opinions, we do not use any tax dollars and do not have an unlimited budget. Our goal is to expose engineering students to motorsports. The students perform all maintenance (this accounts for several DNF's) and all pit duties. This is a learning experience for all involved. | Racing Goals | With age creeping up on me my main goal is to race as long as possible and to transfer as much knowledge to others as I can. | Other Interesting Team Information | I'm very proud of my previous car number, 40+. This number came about when four 40-year-olds decided to return to racing. We are proud that the number is well known at Eagle and in knowing that you are never too old to return to something you love. |
