 Career Summary
I started racing Go-Karts with a group of friends at age 15 in Fort Calhoun, NE. A few years later my father became involved, and I started Kart racing very seriously. In 1987 I won 15 out of 17 Features at Little Daytona Speedway in Blair, NE, and I won 11 out of 13 Features at KartWheels Speedway in Norfolk, NE. I also won all 3 Briggs and Stratton Box Stock classes at the IKF Speedway Grandnationals in Columbus Junction, IA in '87. I have 5 IKF Speedway Grandnational Championships. After a few years off, I started in the Pro Ams with car owner Ray Wiblishouser in '94, competing at Eagle and Sunset. I got 2nd in my first ever A Feature at Sunset, and had 3 more 2nd's that year, and 2 wins at Eagle (3 actually, but was 5 pounds light for one - OOPS!). In '95 I had 3 wins at Sunset and 4 at Eagle, and was in the Top 3 in Points all year at both tracks. I split with the car owner late in the '95 season and raced on my own from there. Started again late in '96, but finished the season strong with 3 Feature wins in a row at Sunset. Started '97 off strong with 3 more wins out of four weeks. Shortly thereafter I was claimed, and I struggled through the season with an underpowered reciprocated engine. Won points in '97. Moved on to Grand National class in '98, and had 2 wins, a 5th place Points finish, and Rookie of the Year honors. '99 was a trying season as the GN class became ultra-competitive, and I did a lot of experimenting with an aging chassis. Claimed 1 win and a 14th place Points finish (didn't compete at every event). Sold out and took off the 2000 season until opportunity arose to get back with Ray and new partner Dave Wenck in 2001, resulting in two Track Championships in two years at two different tracks with them. Ray and Dave retired from Stock Car racing at the end of 2002, beginning a new era. The "new era" in 2003 was full of ups and downs! I teamed up with my dad with a Rocket Chassis trying to defend the '02 Championship. Struggled early getting the chassis right, then went through a period of six weeks in a row into the wall head on with two different cars. Also switched to Super Late Models during this stint. Finally figured out what I was doing wrong and finished the season running pretty strong for a SLM rookie. Won 5 or 6 SLM heat races, and had a couple of strong Top 10 finishes from the back late in the season. We lost our race shop for '04 and we sold out.

 Racing Goals
The team is on hiatus and I am currently recovering from back surgery. I'm presently seeking opportunities for '11 and hope to be out racing again soon...

 Other Interesting Team Information
The car in the picture is the 2002 NRP Grand National Championship winning 2000 GRT 2W Motorsports ride.

I won a 200-lap Enduro at Eagle in '06 driving a Geo Prism. What a blast!!!

I have been racing online since 1996 as well, running in various Cup, Nationwide, and Truck series. Well over 300 wins and many Championships were scored, as well as many new friendships with people all over North America. www.nasscar.com is where I did most of my online racing. However, since 2008 I have been a member at iRacing.com Motorsports Simulations, getting my adrenaline rush. Check it out!
