 Awards & Accomplishments
Finished in Top 20 in points my first year racing in 1994 at Lexington. Crashed my old car in 1995 pretty bad, not finishing the season, but still finished in 26th for the season in points. Racing seemed a lot harder then, as more cars were at the tracks. It was very tough to make A Features and a lot of the drivers from then are very accomplished in other divisions now. In 1999 I started racing the car I have now, and raced three very different tracks in a month's time at the end of the racing season, and the car performed very well at all three tracks - Top 5 at Norton, Kansas, 3rd in an A Main at Lexington, and 3rd in a Main Event at McCook. This carried over to the 2000 season where, at Lexington, I finished 4th in season points after holding the 2nd place spot for nearly the entire season.

 Career Summary
I was fortunate to have helped some good racers over the years - my dad, my older brothers, Mike Fegter, Sean Temoshek, David Kirby, Chuck Ledbetter, and most recently, Rich Boden. I have listened very carefully, taken notes, and applied a lot of what I've learned to my own racing team. I was the last of four sons (who have all raced Stock Cars here in Nebraska) to get my own car and race. I have raced a Bronco / Street Stock car of my own since I got my start, but have also tried 4-Cylinder racing at Benkelman in my dad's Mini-Stock Mustang, and his Cutlass Hobby Stock. Also tried being the gas man in a Cruiser with Rich Boden at Doniphan (that was HARD!).

 Racing Goals
I'm not really into personal goals. I just love being out there trying to race competitively. The Top 4 finish in points at Lexington in 2000 was very nice because that was an actual goal we set out to do and accomplished it. I guess now it's just to be like my dad, scrape up the nickels and dimes to race, and get out there again. Above all, just for the thrill of it all! Nothing I've ever done compares to the sound and the feel of the drop of the green flag and the start of another Feature race. All those cars around me, fish-tailing, trying to get traction, slinging mud, and hearing the RPM's of 15 or more racing engines winding up! What a rush!
